As a Customer Site Service Representative, you create chemistry by...

  • Supporting the daily operation of BASF products in customer automotive assembly plants, ensuring seamless integration and application.
  • Providing on-site technical and application expertise regarding product performance, including color management, defect identification, and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Assuring that product performance meets or exceeds customer expectations while aligning with business objectives to establish BASF as the supplier of choice.
  • Responding to customer requirements by enforcing product quality and performance specifications and supporting new product and application development.
  • Supporting the efforts of a BASF sales and technical team to deliver value to the customer through product technical support, problem investigation, analysis, and resolution.
  • Managing existing customer relationships while actively developing new partnerships to enhance service delivery.

If you have...

  • A Bachelor's Degree or a High School Diploma (or GED) combined with equivalent experience, allowing you to leverage your educational and professional background in paint applications or manufacturing to provide on-site expertise related to product application and performance.
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in the Automotive Coatings Industry or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and ERP systems, which enables you to collect and analyze data effectively and apply the results to make informed recommendations regarding materials and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitating continuous inspection and evaluation of painted units for defects, including sags, thin paint, drip craters, and proper topcoat application.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, essential for interacting effectively with team members and management at our customer facility.
  • Proven leadership ability, empowering you to manage a shift independently with minimal supervision.
