Technical Development - Rigid Foam 1

Objectives of the Position

• Conduct technical activities to ensure the successful achievement of business objectives and to ensure that customer demand for reliable quality products can be met safely, cost effectively and timely
• Ensure that customer demand for quick system solutions, trouble-shooting, prototyping can be met safely, cost effectively and on time

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

• Executes and achieve trial (new product introduction) and troubleshooting requests
• Performs formulation modifications, evaluations and testing
• Communicates and documents (internal and externally) all processing technologies/trends
• Initiate New Article registration and ensure BOM’s consistence
• Supports evaluation of alternative raw materials
• Documentation of all opportunities in salesforce
• Follows up development of new customers, applications and relevant processing technologies
• Collects market information (competitors, customers, regulations, etc.)
• Ensures compliance to EHS requirements in labs & customer’s site
• Supports build up regional technical capability and fosters expertise exchange between countries and segments

Job Requirements (Minimum requirement to carry out the work)

Education: Graduated in Chemistry, Polymers or Engineering

Working Experience: At least 3 years in technical and/or development of polyurethanes system.Total experience at least 10 years in Chemical industry

Technical & Professional Knowledge: Good understanding on chemistry, polymer science and polyurethane manufacturing process
