Main Objective:

We are looking to expand our Agile Product Team with a Senior Digital Solution Architect who will be responsible from idea to operation of our Credit, Dispute and Collection solutions. You are accountable of consulting our internal business partners (worldwide) and help them to define the business requirement and to transform it in a solution design. You are responsible for the design, customizing of the specific requirements and to collaborate with others in case of programing or projects. You have excellent knowledge and understanding of SAP, implementation of new business requirements and understand additionally the responsibility also for operational task, e.g. ticket solving in case of errors.

Main Tasks:

  • You will be responsible for designing possible IT solutions in the area of Credit, Dispute & Collection Management for subject-specific business requirements in coordination with colleagues, business units and internal business partners within BASF
  • You will configure and test complex applications e.g. SAP Credit Management (e.g. FSCM) or FIS GetPaid Collection including quality assurance and managing projects in cooperation with our business partners and third-party providers.
  • Understanding and challenging complex business requirements, processes, and customer needs, adding value to solutions and matching them with existing tools and technologies.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and deliver analysis reports, solution proposals, and project plans.
  • Focus on improving processes and achieving business objectives through effective solution design.
  • Design sustainable and high value-driven business Applications
  • Living and take accountability for end-to-end processes.
  • Advising and supporting the internal business partners (IBP) on complex business process and IT application issues within the process Area Credit, Dispute and Collection Management
  • IT analysis, (process and/or data) modelling, consulting and optimization of more complex business processes and business models, corresponding with target-group oriented presentation of concepts.
  • Execute more complex prototyping/configuration and testing of new business solutions based on dedicated BASF business requirements while ensuring high quality.
  • Execution of studies in the preliminary stage of projects including evaluation of Third-Party providers
  • Supports and/or steers the formulation of more complex cost estimates for solution design efforts and for all other relevant project phases as integral part of the project life cycle planning process.
  • Contribution to more complex projects including collaboration with internal business partners and external providers.

Requirements:

• Education: Completed university degree in Business IT, Business Economics with emphasis on SCM and/or IT or Informatics with an emphasis on Business Economics (Diploma / Master).

• Working Experience:

  • Solid experience in system development (customizing, smaller developments), maintenance and / or consultancy. At least 10-15 SAP project life cycle implementation experience is desired.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Account Receivables configuration and related processes
  • Very experienced in configuration of SAP Credit Management (e.g. FSCM) or Collection Management and knowledge of related Order to Cash processes and integration is desired.

• Language skills: Advanced/fluent written and spoken language skills in English. All meetings/workshops are in English.

• Technical skills:

  • Deep business knowledge and technology expertise.
  • Business knowledge in the Process Area Finance.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and to work under high pressure.
  • Good technical knowledge about Data Integration and System Integration (Cloud to SAP and vice versa), API, Data communication, Security Requirements is desired.

• Soft skills:
