QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in preferably in Chemical Engineer or Chemical.
  • 7+ years technical industry experience
  • Effective communication skills, including openness, clarity, organizational awareness, and empathy, to achieve desired results.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to demonstrate leadership.
  • Excellent Knowledge of application technology
  • Knowledge of Responsible Care / EHSQ requirements and regulations
  • Leadership experience and technical knowledge
  • Knowledge in coatings
  • Fluent in English.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Manages, develops and executes internal and external training and education concepts to ensure a high level of technical expertise with-in the local organization and to keep in contact with external customers, associations, vocational schools and other institutions

Takes over the accountability for technical issues e.g.:

  • Technical processes training programmes as per TDS
  • Technical complaint handling
  • Technical processes for PC and CV
  • Safety & legislations
  • Running and upkeep of the RCC’s
  • Deliver seminars for Glasurit, R-M, Glasurit 68 line.
  • Internally (TTT) & Externally (Distribution Partners / OEM’s / etc)
  • Execute RADAR/X-Rays testing
  • Development plan on gaps as per results.
  • Coaching of gaps.
  • Re-testing and certifying of technical tea
  • Controlling housekeeping and oversight of basic facilities management.
  • Looking after equipment and panels for training
  • Orchestrate maintenance at RCC in partnership with Facilities Management when applicable.
  • Sourcing of quotations for equipment in conjunction with Procurement and Controlling.
  • Beyond working hours’ activities as and when required based on client requirements.
  • Overall responsibility for Responsible Care Management System at RCC as the Site Manager.
  • Overall accountability for the implementation and maintenance for the RCMS at RCC
  • Participate in the audit process for RCMS.
  • Establish a high-performance safety culture and enhance safety awareness across all levels by means of Safety Champions activities and short talks
  • Familiarise yourself with the OHS Act and its regulations.
  • Effective training concepts are implemented
  • Skill level of the technical field trainers of the local organization is defined and assured
  • Lectures and presentations are drawn up and given regularly
  • Possible competency improvements are known, and qualifications measures are part of an individual development plan
  • Required product portfolio for the local organization is defined together with Regional Technical Manager, Sales and Marketing
